| My son received this book as a gift when he was about a month old. It's hard to imagine a book that attracts the attention of a one month old, but this one did! The moveable mobile has wonderful contrasts that caught his eye when he was tiny, and now that he is 14 months old, he loves to grab onto the mobile (it has withstood some serious abuse and has never ripped off!). Same thing with the "mirror" page - he could see light flickering in the mirror when he was a young infant and now that he is older, he loves to see his own face smiling back at him. We have about 150 children's books in our home and this one is definitely in the group of about 10 books that my son continually selects. I had never heard of this book before we got it, but now I recommend it to everyone. | |
