| I have been looking for a new way to teach the shapes to my two year old twins because the usual shape books just weren't helping them. I saw this in the bookstore and thought I'd give it a try. We read the book when we got home today and both of my kids loved it! We read several other books before their naptime today, and they pointed out all sorts of shapes in the pictures of the other books. Yay for the bagel book! It definitely made the concepts click in my little one's heads. The book is simple, but creative, showing a shaped bagel on each page with the word "circle", etc.. It works!! We also purchased the colors and numbers bagel books and I would highly recommend them. Don't get the opposites one, though, because a couple of the concepts are not clear. | |
